It didn’t start with this year’s hurricanes: Team Biden’s weaponization
of FEMA — discriminating against the “wrong” disaster victims — goes
back years.
And it’s not all on lower-level bureaucrats: The orders came from the top.
Yes, FEMA axed Marn’i Washington in the face of damning evidence she
told subordinates to skip outreach to homes with pro-Trump signs after
Hurricane Milton, which led to at least 20 homes getting skipped in
October and early November.
Should FEMA ignore Trump backers?
But Washington says she was just adhering to agency policy, and her
supervisor OK’d her order: It was no “isolated” incident, as Biden’s
FEMA folks claim.
An ex-FEMA official backs up that claim, telling The Post that bypassing
Trump-backers has long been an open secret at the agency, as part of a
larger policy of discrimination under Biden’s Diversity, Equity and
Inclusion directives.

Yet the policy she says higherups OK’d of shunning homes solely because
they sport a pro-Trump sign amounts to blatant profiling — either a
bigoted assumption that Trump backers are all dangerous, or a sideways
excuse for intentional political discrimination.
No wonder Florida GOP Rep. Carlos Gimenez is livid: “The Biden

Americans critical aid and assistance during a natural disaster,” he

It fits a pattern: The Biden Justice Department, recall, is famous for
targeting political opponents, from parents at school-board meetings to
Trump himself.

What do you think? Post a comment.
Biden’s Federal Aviation Administration, Federal Trade Commission,
Securities and Exchange Commission, National Labor Relations Board, US
Attorney for the Southern District of New York and US Fish and Wildlife
Service have all probed Elon Musk after he had the temerity of aligning
himself with Trump and, worse, championing free speech.
And the larger DEI push (by Biden at the federal level, and everywhere
else it’s been embraced) is nothing but rank discrimination in the name
of “social justice.”
At FEMA and far beyond, Team Trump has a whole lot of house-cleaning to do.

We have every reason to believe that many State agencies may also engage
in similar "profiling" practices with Medicaid and other aid resources.
No doubt the same may even extend to cities and townships. This is an
"all of government" problem. Just as in the book, Animal Farm, "...all
animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others."

What the FEMA employee did is likely a criminal violation of Title VI of
the Civil Rights Act. She should be prosecuted along with her fellow
FEMA employees who denied aid to victims in North Carolina in the
aftermath of Hurricane Milton. As a sidebar, Google is blocking almost
all information on..

Does anyone else remember the media beating the drums for the FEMA
director's head in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina's devastating
damage in New Orleans? I certainly do -- it was a major contributing
factor in the Republicans losing control of Congress in 2006 and laying
the groundwork for Obama's election in 2008. And the very ugly truth is
most of went wrong in New Orleans was not the fault of FEMA or the Bush
Administration, but the amazingly incompetent Democrat mayor of New
Orleans and Democrat governor of Louisiana, both of whom were voted out
of office at the next election. If not for Bush's threat to nationalize
the Louisiana National Guard, the mayor and governor were not prepared
to order the evacuation of New Orleans as "impractical" -- even has
hundreds of New Orleans school and transit buses sat idle and many were
eventually destroyed by being left in flood zones.
"Never let a good crisis go to waste." Despicable.
